English: Chancel, St Michael's Church, Doddiscombsleigh The eastern end of the chancel boasts an eye-catching carving depicting the Last Supper donated by the Rector, Prebendary F F Buckingham and his wife in memory of their son, killed in action in 1917. The carving is framed within an imposing reredos. In front of the carving stands a lighter coloured oak Communion Table donated by another member of the Buckingham family. |
