Summary[edit]

Description
English: Cheetah aero engine This engine is one of a pair from an Avro Anson trainer which crashed on Dunrod Hill in 1939 during a formation exercise. The pilot survived, but a crew member died in the accident. The engine now sits at the edge of the car park at the Cornalees Bridge Centre. The other engine remains at the crash site on the hill.
