Description
English: Der Chor Minor (wörtlich "vier Türme") wurde im frühen 19. Jahrhundert von einem türkischen Kaufmann, Khalifa Niyaz Qouli, gegründet. Zu dieser Zeit war Buchara weit entfernt von den glorreichen Tagen der Shaybanid-Dynastie und die allgemeine Qualität des Hochbaus war recht gering. Trotzdem gelang es Qouli, eine Struktur von anhaltendem architektonischem Interesse zu schaffen, die die Besucher weiterhin für ihre Eigenart und kreative Neuinterpretation der alten Designprinzipien begeistert.
