Summary[edit]

Description Two interesting plaques fitted at the entrance to the Church Lads' Brigade building in St. John's. Though self explanatory if viewed in full screen mode, let me briefly state that the plaque on top honours a certain Lt. Col. W.H. Franklin, one of the earliest founder members of the society. The black plaque below that acknowledges the first 500 members who enlisted in the Royal Newfoundland Regiment for WW-1 between 1914 and 1918.
