Circles of Life sculpture by Renn at 59th Biennale Arte in Venice, Namibian Pavilion

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Six concentric circles in stone and iron rods rotate around a central axis creating a three-dimensional spiral effect that enhances Renn’s ability to make heavy elements supple. It is the mystery and wonder of the origin of life, expressed through the oxymoron of lightness and dynamism of the forms consubstantiated with the solid mass of heavy elements. Rubble, Iron bar and scrap material. h. 100 cm
