Summary[edit]

Description A remake of Image:Classical_Kepler_orbit_e0.6.gif in which the orbiting "planet" is itself luminous. Perhaps that's OK, since I chose the eccentricity from the binary star system of pulsar PSR B1913+16, which is famous in general relativity for its gravitational radiation. A key difference, however, is that, here, one star is absolutely fixed, being much more massive than the other.
