Description
English: High mass in a fishing village on the Zuiderzee. The costumes are those of Volendam, a Catholic village, but the church shown is that of Monnickendam, a Protestant village (where no Roman catholic mass is held). These villages are neighbours, on the western shore of the Zuiderzee.
