| Description |
English: Clay cliff feature, Burton Beach A feature in the cliffs to the east of the beach facilities at Burton Beach. I don't know the geological details - my eye was drawn to it by the drainage patterns on the face of the cliff. Apparently this rock is middle Jurassic Frome clay - appropriate since this is part of the "Jurassic Coast" world heritage site (a minority of the cliff outcrops are Jurassic - most is Cretaceous). |
