Description: Scrapbook page containts one photograph of a freize of Cleopatra, Ptolemy, Isis, and Horus. The annotation included on this page recounts Ptolemy XIII's will and his request that his daughter VII marry Ptolemy XIX.

Transcription: In B.C. 52 when Ptolemy XIII dies, he leaves will appointing his son Ptolemy XIX and his daughter Cleopatra VII his joint heirs of Egypt and commands them to marry. He makes the Senate of Rome their guardian and Pompey is appointed to that office. Fierce quarrels break out between husband and wife and Ptolemy banishes his wife and sister Cleopatra. The Romans interfere in the quarrel in which Pompey is opposed to and defeated by Caesar at Pharsalia. He lands at Pelusium and is murdered by Ptolemy. Alexandria had then reached the zenith of its splendor. During the siege of the city by Caesar happend the calamityof the burning of the Great Library of the museum.
