| Description |
The island of Gran Canaria is Spanish and is in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Africa. It's southerly location makes it a very popular holiday destination all year round. At the south of the island lies the large area of the Maspalomas Dunes which cover an area of 5 square Kilometers and in parts are quite high. Behind them, at the top of my picture is a nature reserve. Although the photo was taken back in 1988 the scene will have changed very little since then. |
