Summary[edit]

Description
English: Climbing up Rake following heavy snowfall Rake is a bridleway which climbs from Three Gates, near Erringden Grange to Erringden Moor. The lower part, running up to a small disused quarry and an bleakly isolated house at Rake Head, has the form of steep sided hollow track. Snow had drifted over the previous week and few people had been up that way, certainly no vehicles.
