Description
English: Clinical use of the "Muscle Whistler" at Stanford University Department of Physical Therapy in April 1974.The Muscle Whistler was an early biofeedback device, developed by Dr. Harry Garland and Dr. Roger Melen, which used surface electromyogram (EMG) signals to control an audio tone. The Muscle Whistler was introduced in Popular Electronics magazine in November 1971.
