Summary[edit]

Description
English: Clock Tower, Airmyn, East Riding of Yorkshire, England

Commanding a fine position on the riverbank at the centre of the village, the imposing clock tower was completed in 1868 as a mark of gratitude to the owner of the Airmyn estate, George Percy, 2nd. Earl of Beverley, who had departed in 1865 (aged 85) on succeeding as Duke of Northumberland. He died in 1867 just before this magnificent tribute was completed.
