Summary[edit]
DescriptionCoach park near the harbour at Portree, Skye - geograph.org.uk - 1910954.jpg |
English: A mix of vehicles in the coach park near the harbour at Portree, Skye, in the Scottish Highlands. Two tanker trucks of Harry Lawson of Broughty Ferry surround an Optare Solo local bus of Stagecoach. Side on is another local bus, a blue Plaxton Beaver/Mercedes minibus of Highland Coaches, with an Alexander Sprint/Mercedes minibus of Stagecoach behind it. In the foreground is a luxury white Mercedes minibus of an unknown operator, likely for tour use. The big yellow coach is a Scottish CityLink vehicle used for scheduled public transport services. The advert on the back, 'All roads lead to Hampden Park', refers to their 'Sportslink' branded tie in deal with the Scottish Football Association for services that will take match ticket holders direct to the stadium on match days. |
