Object history
English: Coat of arms of the former Danish Juelsminde Municipality. The was granted to As-Klakring municipality in 1962. When As-Klakring became part of Juelsminde municipality in 1970 the coat of arms was continued by the new municipality. The ash branches are canting for the parish of As and refers to the forests in the municipality. The anchor refers to the fishery harbour and ferry terminal in Juelsminde which was then part of the parish of Klakring.
Dansk: Den tidligere Juelsminde kommunes byvåben. Våbnet blev oprindeligt tildelt til den daværende sognekommune As-Klakring i 1962, og blev videreført af Juelsminde kommune efter kommunalreformen i 1970. Askegrenene er talende for As, mens ankret symboliserer Juelsmindes fiskerihavn og færgeoverfart, der tidligere lå i Klakring sogn.
