Summary[edit]

Unidentified Female Saint (Red slash in neck, tower or church upon left hand, criss-crossing necklace; blue veil back off forehead. Polychrome; stiffened cloth; glass eyes; metal necklace; about 4', 120 cm.) The red slash in the figure's neck could refer to any of several women martyred by the sword, including St. Lucy, St. Cecilia, and St. Barbara. The latter is often shown with a tower similar to that held by this figure, but her tower usually has just three windows.
