| Description |
Español: Escuela de educación infantil Martiricos, conocida popularmente como Colegio del Mapa, en el número 2 del paseo de Martiricos, Málaga, España. El colegio cuenta en su exterior con un mapa orográfico en relieve de 24 metros de ancho por unos 18 metros de largo, construido con cemento y pintura. Fue construido en 1927 por el ingeniero militar Joaquín Alfarache. El relieve reproduce la península ibérica, las islas Baleares, Canarias y el antiguo Protectorado español de Marruecos. El colegio cuenta con una protección de Grado I del Ayuntamiento de Málaga. El mapa fue restaurado por la entidad Quibla Restaura entre diciembre de 2023 y enero de 2024 a instancias del Ayuntamiento, concluyéndose el proceso de restauración el 10 de enero de 2024.[1] |
