Das Computergehäuse der Amiga-Reihe ist aus einem Kunststoff gefertigt, der farblich unbehandelt gelb bis braun erscheint. Daher wurden die Gehäuseteile in verschiedenen Graustufen eingefärbt. Im Laufe der Zeit kam es zu einer Vergilbung der Baugruppen, da die Farbpigmente durch Lichteinwirkung (vor allem UV) und Wärme zersetzt oder herausdiffundiert wurden. Die ursprüngliche Materialfarbe kam wieder zum Vorschein. Durch die Spracheinstellung: yellowed wird ein Farbverlauf eingeblendet, der unter Berücksichtigung der Faktoren Zeit (t), Ultraviolettstrahlung (UV) und Wärme (Q) die Änderung der Originalfarben hin zur Materialfarbe versucht wiederzugeben. The case of the Amiga series is made of plastic material which appears yellow to brown in untreated color. Therefore, the housing parts were colored in different shades of gray. Over time, there was a yellowing of the components, since the color pigments were diffused out by light (especially UV) and thermal decomposition. The original material color reappeared. Setting the language: yellowed a gradient appears which takes account into the factors of Time (t), UV radiation (UV) and Heat (Q) to attempt to reproduce the modification of the original colors towards the material color.
