| Description |
English: Group of 17 Commonwealth War Graves in the Protestant Churchyard of Oegstgeest in South Holland, the Netherlands. They include seven members of 51 Squadron RAF, all of whom died in 24 May 1943. There are also three members of 21 Squadron RAF, who died on 14 April 1941. 11 of the airmen were members of the RAF Volunteer Reserve. Four of the graves are Canadians: two RCAF airmen who served 51 Squadron who died in May 1943, and two members of the Royal Canadian Artillery who died in May 1945. Second from the right is the grave of one Dutch airman, Flying Officer Eric Ditmarsch. He served in 322 (Netherlands) Squadron RAF, and died on 13 February 1945. |
