Description
English: Use of a Z-blade kneader and extruder to produce granules (compounding) from polymer material. Granules is a form which is very convenient for use in other processing methods, such as injection moulding. The granules are typically 3 mm diameter and about 4 mm long.
Français : Exemple de processus de fabrication d'un matériau polymère, transformé dans ce cas en granulés plastiques. Cette dernière forme est très pratique pour l'utilisation par une technique de transformation telle le moulage par injection. Pour augmenter le rendement, on utilise une filière multi-trous. Les granulés font typiquement 3 mm de diamètre et environ 4 mm de long.
On obtiendra finalement un objet en matière plastique.
