Summary[edit]

Description A final look at Confucius before we move on. Confucius was an influential Chinese philosopher, teacher and political figure known for his popular aphorisms and for his models of social interaction. Kong Qui, better known as Confucius, was born in 551 B.C. He died in 479 B.C. Confucianism later became the official imperial philosophy of China, and was extremely influential during the Han, Tang and Song dynasties. Confucius is traditionally credited with having authored or edited many of the Chinese classic texts including all of the Five Classics. (Hanoi, Vietnam, Oct./ Nov. 2016)
