Summary
[edit]DescriptionCopenhagen Suborbitals HEAT combustion chamber.jpg |
English: A look inside of the combined combustion chamber and fuel compartment (paraffin wax) for the half-length (4 m) version of the HEAT booster (Hybrid Exo Atmospheric Transporter). The red part is the graphite nozzle. At the tiny holes the oxygen will pour in feeding the fire. The half-length HEAT is expected to launch a crash test dummy to 40 km altitude in June 2010. The full-length HEAT should be able to send one person up in space in a parabolic flight. |
