Three Copper printing plate for colours blue, red and yellow depicting Loch Achray. Cardboard cover for the 'Scots Pictorial Calendar in colour' containing three copper plates, separate colour proofs on six page booklet containing colour separate proofs, of the June 1953 picture of Loch Achray. Accession Number: hh.4748.33.88 Plates are the illustrations separately printed and inserted into a book once it is bound. The copper plate is the master surface from which printing is done. Edinburgh City of Print is a joint project between City of Edinburgh Museums and the Scottish Archive of Print and Publishing History Records (SAPPHIRE). The project aims to catalogue and make accessible the wealth of printing collections held by City of Edinburgh Museums.
