Description
Português: Idealizada pelos empreendedores George Oetter e Frank Speers entre 1890 e 1895, a praça, junto com a igreja da Congregação Mariana, foi um dos elementos da nova vila operária, criada para atender os funcionários da Fábrica Santa Rosália. Em 1940, passou por uma remodelação completa, realizada pelo botânico iugoslavo Sigismund Soboslay, a pedido do então proprietário da fábrica, o Sr. Pereira da Silva. Foram alterados traçados das alamedas internas, introduzidas novas plantas e instalado o coreto, que abrigaria apresentações de música da Corporação Musical Carlos Alberto da Cianê. É um bem tombado em Sorocaba, São Paulo, Brasil.
