| Description |
English: Corner of St Olave's Church. The north west corner of the former St Olave's Church, which ceased to be a church in 1841, however, it continues to be called St Olave's to this day. On the left is the blocked opening 588165 showing just how high off the ground it is. The old electric supply box near the drainpipe has been fitted over the even older St Olave's Street sign. The steps lead up to the front door of the building, which is much higher than the level of Lower Bridge Street in front. The supporting girders wrap all around the front of the raised area, which presumable has been declared unstable - see 587596 . |
