Español: British Museum. Cráneo humano modelado en yeso con conchas, perteneciente a la cultura del Neolítico precerrámico en Oriente Próximo (8200-7500 a.C.). Encontrado por Fathleen Kenyon en Tell es-Sultan (1953). Empleadas conchas para componer los ojos. Estos cráneos se relacionan con rituales funerarios. El retrato se encuadraría en la primera expresión artística del rostro humano. |
