| Description |
English: Site of Crigglestone West station, 1988. View southward, towards Barnsley: ex-L&Y Wakefield - Barnsley line, connecting via Crigglestone Junction (in the opposite direction), with the Calder Valley line from both Wakefield etc. to the east and Horbury & Ossett, Mirfield, Leeds, Bradford etc., etc etc. to the west. The station was closed from 13/9/65, but the line here remains as a route between Sheffield and Leeds via Wakefield. |
