Description
Français : Eiffel publie cette courbe appuyée sur des marques provenant d'un grand nombre de cylindres de différents diamètres. Il fait usage, en abscisse, du produit VD, une façon d'appliquer empiriquement le Reynolds dont déjà (avant 1914), pour la crise de la sphère Lord Rayleigh avait proposé l'usage.
English: Eiffel publishes this curve supported on marks coming from a large number of cylinders of different diameters. He makes use, on the abscissa, of the product VD, a way of empirically applying the Reynolds whose already (before 1914), for the drag crisis of the sphere Lord Rayleigh had proposed the use.
