Српски / srpski: По народном предању, цркву је подигао деспот Стефан Лазаревић уочи поласка на Никопољску битку 1396. године. Судећи по архитектонским одликама и стилским особеностима, она је свакако из времена о коме предање говори, с краја 14. или почетка 15. века и припада моравској градитељској школи.
U ovom hramu ozvaničena je dinastija Karađorđević, u njoj se venčao sa svojom suprugom.
English: According to tradition, the church was erected by despot Stefan Lazarevic on the eve of his departure for the Battle of Nikopol in 1396. Judging by its architectural features and stylistic features, it certainly dates from the end of the 14th or early 15th century and belongs to the Moravian School of Civil Engineering.
