Add a one-line explanation of what this file represents
Description Like the famous Stonehenge in England, the tones of the Cromlech of Almendres probably served as both an ancient religious site and as an astronomical tool for marking keys days in the calendar, such as the spring and autumnal equinoxes or the winder and summer solstices. While smaller than Stonehenge, the Cromlech is Almendres is much older. The central section dates from about 7,000 years ago, or roughly 2,000 years before Stonehenge.
