This is yet another example of a cross-shaped window on a church in Lalibela, Ethiopia. In this case, the church is Bet Abba Libanos. As cruciform windows go, this is one of the simpler designs I saw in Lalibela. The exterior detail that surrounds the window is repeated in the building's interior. |
