Summary[edit]

Description
English: cup

INTERIOR: Love-making. A naked woman lies face down on a bench or couch, her left arm curled round her head as it rests on a folded cushion (black stripes and dilute glaze lines). Her hair is tied up behind in a krobylos with a red band. A man kneels between her legs behind her. She grips his erect penis with her right hand. The fingers of his right hand are spread; his left hand is on the far side of her torso. His beard is characterised by the use of dilute glaze as thin or greying; there are two dilute glaze creases on his brow and a dilute glaze line marking the edge of his cheek bone. He has a red garland on his head. Above on the right is a food-basket (red ties above). Border: continuous maeander (anticlockwise, four-stroke core). Hair contours incised around added relief dots; all other contours done with relief line; dilute glaze for minor interior markings; added red for inscriptions.
