Summary[edit]
DescriptionCwm Hetiau - geograph.org.uk - 98188.jpg |
English: Cwm Hetiau. This view taken from Clogwyn Station on the Snowdon Railway is facing "Y Foel Goch" (distant peak). The craggy rocks in the foreground form Cwm Hetiau (Valley of Hats) so called because Victorian Tourists on the railway frequently had their hats blown off by the wind. These hats were found by local shepherds who named the spot "Cwm Hetiau." |
