| Description |
English: Cwm Tywi north of Llyn Brianne With some telephoto help, this landscape is seen from the "viewpoint" on the Tregaron-Abergwesyn mountain road, looking towards Llyn Brianne which is out of sight down the valley to the right. On the left is the road to Abergwesyn , which climbs to the left at the forest in the distance. Closer, and leaving the picture to the left is the forestry road to Moel Prysgau (now open access) which also forks along the Tywi past Nant y Stalwyn farm, an old drover's road to Strata Florida, open to all vehicles, but don't attempt it without a 4WD. The Afon Tywi is in the centre of the image, and to the right of it is the unsurfaced track* to Dolgoch Youth Hostel. The farm buildings of Nantyrhwch, presently being restored, nestle below the forest to the right of centre.
