Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Cyfronydd Station. A double headed train is waiting to depart for Llanfair Caereinion. The Maroon engine is Kerr, Stuart "Joan" and the green engine is Beyer Peacock of Gorton "Countess". Countess was built in 1902 and is one of the two original locomotives to work this narrow gauge line built to serve local farming communities. I am stood on a train hauled by the other original locomotive - "Earl". These two operated the line until closure in 1956. They now operate the preserved line and as such are highly appropriate.
