English: BUILT CIRCA 1810 IN GREEK REVIVAL STYLE BY JOHN DEMAREST WHO WAS A FARMER WITH AN INTEREST IN RIVER TRADE USING THE HACKENSACK RIVER. HOUSE WAS PURCHASED IN 1864 BY GEORGE BLOOMER WHO DEALT IN COAL AND LUMBER
