Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde erstamls am 5. September 1930 vom preußischen Staatsministerium verliehen und am 31. März 1948 vom niedersächsischen Innenminister bestätigt. Es handelt sich um eine um von Gustav Völker 1929 entworfene Kombination des Wappens des Erzstiftes Bremen mit dem Wappen der Adelsfamilie der Clüver, die vom 15. bis zum 17. Jahrhundert zehn Gografen des Gogerichts Achim stellte. Der Bremer Schlüssel erinnert an die Zugehörigkeit zum Herzogtum Bremen-Verden. |
