Object history
Deutsch: Die beiden Brezeln im Schildhaupt des seit dem Jahre 1931 geführten Gemeindewappens weisen auf den Brauch des „Altenrieter Brezelmarktes" hin. Vom Wappen des Ortsadels der Herren von Riet wurde der Bracke in das Bildkennzeichen der Gemeinde übernommen. Das Innenministerium hat die Flagge am 31. August 1973 verliehen.
