Deutsch: Das Wappen fußt auf dem großen Gerichssiegel von Dalsheim (Abdruck von 1546). Da der im Hochmittelalter den Grafen von Leiningen gehörende Ort in zwei Etappen (1395 und 1468) in den Besitz der Pfalzgrafen gelangte, sollen wohl die beiden Schilde und der darüber schreitende und sie zusammenfassende pfälzische Löwe diesen schrittweisen Übergang darstellen.
