Object history
Deutsch: Die neue Gemeinde ist aus Vereinigungen von Geigelbach und Musbach am 1. Januar 1967 und dieser Gesamtgemeinde mit Ebersbach am 1. September 1971 hervorgegangen. Das Deutschordenskreuz und der Zisterzienserbalken beziehen sich auf die beiden bedeutendsten Grundherrschaften, die vom 13. Jahrhundert an im Bereich der jetzigen Gemeinde aufgetreten sind. Ebersbach gehörte von 1269 bis zur Säkularisation im Jahre 1806 der Deutschordenskommende Altshausen. In Musbach und vor allem in Geigelbach war das Zisterzienserinnenkloster Baindt bis ins 18. beziehungsweise 19. Jahrhundert hinein reich begütert. Das Innenministerium hat das Wappen und die Flagge am 30. August 1974 verliehen.
