Object history
Deutsch: Die „redende" Figur der Esche war - ohne Wappenschild - schon 1832 im Gemeindesiegel zu sehen. 1926 wurde ein Wappen festgelegt, in dem die Esche und die als Füllsel hinzugekommenen Farnkräuter aus einem Dreiberg wachsen, der mit einem Wellenstab als Hinweis auf die Quelle des Fischbachs belegt ist. Im Jahre 1956 brachte die Gemeinde das Wappen, dessen Farben schon 1926 feststanden, in die jetzige, heraldisch bessere Form. Die Verleihung dieses Wappens und der Flagge erfolgte am 26. November 1956 durch das Innenministerium.
