Deutsch: Der Adler stammt aus dem Familienwappen der Grafen von Leiningen. Die Rosen stammen aus dem Gemeindewappen von Guntersblum. Der Bord symbolisiert den Status einer zugehörigen Gemeinde. Krummstab und Schlüssel sind vermutlich Attribute des heiligen Petrus.
English: The eagle is taken from the family arms of the Counts of Leiningen. The roses are taken from the municipal arms of Guntersblum. The orle is symbolising the status of an associated municipality. Crozier and key are probably attributes of St. Peter.
