Object history
Deutsch: Die Gemeinde nahm 1927 ein Wappen an. In gespaltenem Schild vorne in Schwarz ein hersehender silberner Löwe, der mit der linken Pranke ein silbernes Schildchen, darin zwei schreitende, hersehende schwarze Löwen übereinander, hält; hinten in Gold auf grünem Dreiberg ein grüner Baum. Während das hohenlohesche Wappentier samt dem von ihm gehaltenen Stammwappen der Grafen beziehungsweise Fürsten von Hohenlohe an deren von 1416 bis ins 19. Jahrhundert währende Herrschaft erinnerte, bezog sich der Baum auf die Ortsnamenendung „hardt" = Weidewald. 1957 wurde dieses Wappen vereinfacht und vom Innenministerium bestätigt. Die vordere Schildhälfte weist nun auf die ursprüngliche staufische Herrschaft hin. Das Landratsamt Schwäbisch Hall hat die Flagge am 17. März 1980 verliehen.
