Object history
Deutsch: Auf Grund eines für das Jahr 1803 belegten Siegels der Vogtei Rottenacker schlug die Archivdirektion Stuttgart im Jahre 1926 das „redende" Wappen vor. Der Rechen scheint als eine Art Fleckenzeichen gegolten zu haben, denn er wurde - zusammen mit einem Laubzweig - auch in dem vermutlich um 1820 beschafften Prägesiegel des Schultheißenamts Rottenacker über dem württembergischen Staatswappen abgebildet. Seit 1930 führt die Gemeinde das jetzige Wappen in ihren Dienstsiegeln.
