Deutsch: Das Wappen berücksichtigt die herrschaftsgeschichtliche Entwicklung der Gemeinde und erinnert an ein bedeutendes historisches Ereignis. Der Schrägbalken stammt aus dem Wappen der Hauzendorfer, die im späten 14. Jahrhundert auf der Burg Hauzenstein saßen. Die fünfmalige Schrägteilung von Schwarz und Gold steht für die Freidl, die die Hofmark Hauzenstein von 1492 bis 1758 innehatten. Die auffliegende Lerche ist das redende Symbol der Grafen von Lerchenfeld, die von 1610 bis Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts Herren auf Schönberg waren. Die rote Hellebarde verweist auf die am 12. September 1504 ausgetragene berühmte Schlacht von Wenzenbach (Schönberg), die letzte große Ritterschlacht, die den Landshuter Erbfolgekrieg entschied. Die Farben Weiß und Blau wurden als Hinweis auf die Zugehörigkeit des Gemeindegebietes zu den drei wittelsbachischen Territorien Kurbayern, Pfalz-Neuburg und Kuroberpfalz gewählt. |
