English: Dalveen Lane , above Dalveen Below Dalveen this becomes the Carron Water. 'Lane' seems to be a particularly local name for a small burn in the Nithsdale to Castle Douglas area, but I can find no explanation of its derivation. The screes beyond are from Dern Craig above. |
