Summary[edit]

Description
English: Dannevirke Danish Lutheran Church, at the northeast corner of county roads Dannevirke Road and Wausa, northwest of Elba in Howard County, Nebraska; seen from the west. The church was built in Gothic Revival style in 1906. With the community hall on the southwest corner of the intersection, it constitutes the Dannevirke Danish Lutheran Church and Community Hall, which property is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The red cedar trees in the photo were planted in 1907. In the foreground is the bell that formerly occupied the steeple; it was removed after the steeple was struck by lightning in 1994.
