Description
English: c/n 06020.

Built 1953 for Air France and delivered on 6th December that year. Grounded in April 1954, it was returned to the UK in June 1956 using the registration G-AOJT. It became the back up airframe for pressure tests carried out in a water tank at RAE Farnborough. It was not used for this and remained cocooned until it was acquired by the museum in 1985. It is the only surviving Comet to have the original square windows and is therefore an extremely significant airframe. She is now on display in the newly completed Sir Geoffrey de Havilland hangar. de Havilland Aircraft Museum, Salisbury Hall, London Colney, UK.
