Galego: Home novo, de medio corpo, envolvido nunha capa que deixa ver o colo branco da camisa e a gravata de lazo. En relación á identidade do personaxe representado, apúntase como hipótese que poida tratarse de Sebastián Iradier e Salaverri (1809-1865), músico e compositor de orixe vasca. No debuxo Fierros representaría a Iradier quizá entre 1845 e 1850, nun momento no que o pintor era alumno da Escola de Belas Artes e do taller dos Madrazo en Madrid.
