Summary[edit]
DescriptionDecoloration-of-oak-at-standard-toasting-levels-toneleria-nacional-chile.png |
English: Typical standard toasting levels for wood in the manufacturing of wine barrels and alternatives (staves, chips) are four: light, medium, medium plus and heavy. Toneleria Nacional offers convection toasting in 5 levels for French oak and 5 for American oak, which needs 5 degrees more to achieve similar organoleptic results.
CT1: F190/A195, CT2: F200/A205, CT3: F210/A215, CT4 F230/A235 and CT5: F240/A245. These toasting recipes apply to all woods, including the convection toasted barrels Odysé and Ambrosia. |
